I Need Your Help!

I cannot believe that I am sat writing this blog post today, but they are discontinuing my beloved Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation.

 

If you have been a reader of my blogs for some time, you will know that this is by a country mile my most used and loved foundation. For me, this product just ticks every single box that I have when it comes to a foundation and the only one that really does give my skin the wow factor whenever I wear it. It was the foundation that I have worn to every big occasion in my life, like my wedding for example and I am just a little heartbroken that they have decided to not make it anymore!

 

I actually saw the huge discounts on this item and that was enough to worry me. Unfortunately, when I clicked into the products neither of the two shades which I wear through the year were left in stock and I was left shaken and panicked. I tried to search online to see if I could find out what was happening. After drawing nothing but blanks, I decided that I would just message Nars on Instagram and I asked them outright what was happening, which is where they confirmed that they have made the decision to discontinue the foundation and my heart was broken!

 

They recommended that a good replacement for my All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation would be their new Matt Foundation which was released during 2020, but I struggle to believe that the ‘luminous’ foundation which I was using, could be replaced with a matte alternative.

 

Which is why I am writing this blog post for you guys today. I want to know what your favourite foundation is.

 

I need something that is longwearing, medium to full coverage and something that is not at all matte on the skin when it dries down.
