The Places On My Travel Wishlist

Travelling is something that I am so fortunate to be able to do and I honestly count my lucky stars every single time I get to tick somewhere of my travel bucket list. Ever since the outbreak of coronavirus in 2020, our travel plans have been on hold mainly because I was far too nervous to step foot on a plane. I plan on making sure that I rectify that throughout 2021 and I thought that I would share with you some of the places that I still have left on my travel bucket list that I am hoping to travel to sometime in the near future!

New Zealand It isn’t very often that I see a place and just want to go there for no apparent reason, but that is how I feel when it comes to New Zealand. I think just the fact that it is such a small place, with beautiful coastlines, a whole array of seasons and what seems to be some of the friendliest people. This is a hike from where I am in the UK, but it is one of the main places that I want to tick from my bucket list!

South Africa. Since I was a young girl, I have always wanted to go to South Africa and do the whole safari experience but two things have stood in my way. The first thing is budget. I don’t want to travel to an amazing place and be restricted by cash, I want to be flush and do all of the things that I want to do. The second is my deep routed fear of spiders. The first of my two concerns I am now covered with, however my phobia is going to take some adjusting before I hop on a plane!

Hawaii. Believe it or not, following our 2019 wedding, we have never had a proper honeymoon due to getting the keys to our new house and then COVID hitting and messing everything up. We are thinking about making the journey to Hawaii for two weeks of fun with blistering sunshine, activities and an amazing all-inclusive package. Just dreading the crazy long flight from the UK!

Canada. Even though I have just harped on about Hawaii, I feel like I am not really a beach holiday kind of person and I love my breaks to be full of nature and seeing new perspectives and that is why I want to go to Canada. I have a friend over there that is always trying to get me to have a break there and I think it might be time to take her up on the offer!

Iceland. I know so many people that have gone to Iceland because from here in the UK it is a flight that is only a couple of hours long. I have a deep love for the night sky and I would love to be surrounded by nature, watching a crisp and clear night sky with all of the starts in all of their glory. Hopefully soon, but I have been advices that it is super expensive if you opt for all of the experiences!

I hope that you guys liked this blog post. As much as I love to save money and have something for a rainy day, I will always invest in travelling because I think that nothing compares it really does broaden your mind to different people and different cultures. I will write a blog post in the next coming weeks about some of the places that I have been and why I loved them so much.

Make sure to leave me a comment down below and let me know about some of the places in your travel bucket list and why you want to go there!
