Nars Foundations and Concealers Reviews

 

This is going to be a blog post about one of my favourite base makeup brands and that is Nars. If you have been following my blog for some time, or if you used to follow my old blog a couple of years back, you will know that I have a deep routed love for everything that is Nars. Over the years I have tried countless base makeup brands, but I have to say that it is Nars that I come back to and that I recommend to people so frequently. So, I thought that for this blog post I would talk to you guys about some of my favourite products and let you know why I use and love them so much!

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

I want to talk about this Nars Sheer Glow product first because it was my first dip into the world of Nars and it is the product that started my obsession. I can remember giving this a wide berth for a very long time because I thought that it would make my already oily skin look super slick because it was a glowing product. I then just took the plunge and decided to try it one day and there was no looking back. The coverage is amazing, it looks incredible on the skin and always looks like sheer perfection!

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

Next on the list that I need to talk about is the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. I am sure that every single makeup lover out there will have heard of this product and there is a high chance that you will have even used it over your makeup journey. This was possibly the first concealer that I used where it really opened my eyes to what amazing products could be like. Previous to this I had just used MAC concealers, but this was a step up and I still use it to this day!

Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation

When I saw this Nars All Day Luminous Weightless foundation being released, I knew that I was going to have to get my hands on it and try it out after how much I loved the Sheer Glow. It was safe to say that from the very first time that I used this Nars foundation I knew that it was unlike anything that I had tried before and I knew that it was going to be my new holy grail. I have been using this pretty much non-stop now for around 5 years and I have found absolutely nothing that matches the quality of this product with the coverage and the lightweight.

Nars Soft Matte Concealer

I can remember seeing this begin to appear on YouTube a couple of years back and I was desperate to get my hands on it. After picking one up and using it quite a bit, I quickly learnt that I didn’t really like this underneath the eyes because I just prefer a liquid and honestly, the darkness under my eyes was just a little too intense for this product. The thing that I did love this for was spot concealing and being more precise. My only thing was that I don’t really need to spot conceal enough to have an additional product in my collection when I can just use something else that I already have!

Nars Radiant Longwear Foundation

When this was released, I hoped on it just as I had with every other Nars base product that I had loved and used. As much as I do like this product and I find the coverage to be unreal, it just doesn’t match up to the All Day Luminous Weightless in my book. I do still have a bottle of this in my collection because I find that it photographs lovely and if I am going to be out for a very long day I know that this will look great for a very long time, but daily I do still choose my All Day Luminous!
